I found books for Firefly. Not sure of their quality but I'm going to read the first one. I guess I'm enjoying the umpteenth rewatch so maybe I'll give the books a try. There are 5. The show came out in 2002. I watched it after it came out, and have watched it again a few times. But, I hardly remember it! Nobody told me one of the benefits of getting older was that you could watch your favorite TV shows every few years again like they were new.
